My camera does not work

  • Check if your camera is plugged in properly first - to your computer and into power if needed
  • Check that nothing is covering your camera
  • Go to your browser settings and see if the camera is enabled
  • Go to the your settings application on your computer and check if the correct camera is selected
  • Close any apps or programs that may be using your camera
  • Check that the software of your camera is up to date

Mac Users
If you are using a Mac, you may need to give your browser permission to use the microphone and camera from System Preferences. This can be done in the 'Privacy' tab of the 'Security & Privacy' section in System Preferences. On the left hand side you can select 'Microphone' or 'Camera' and ensure that Google Chrome is ticked, as shown below:

Ensure that your browser is selected in both the Camera and Microphone sections
Allow Access
System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Camera/Microphone
